We will now look at several ‘keys’ to help us connect with the passages of scripture we are studying. Most of these are very simple and can be applied immediately by anyone with a desire to enjoy their Bibles.
Remember, the Bible itself, as a physical object, is not holy! It is a book made for ‘use’.
“For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” Hebrews 5:13-14 NKJV
The scriptures in one sense are like a manual, provided by our Creator to train us in righteousness.
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2Tim 3:16-17 NKJV)
